Hrvoje Vranko is an independent music professional with a focus

on solo piano and composing. His musical experience was mainly influenced by well known jazz classics as well as bossa nova and samba  notes. He has been performing live as a solo jazz pianist in exclusive hotels, bars and clubs internationally for over 15 years.

 

As a pianist and composer Hrvoje Vranko had also been involved in several jazz collectives, from Jazzy Option trio to Samboja collective.

International Jazz Festival in Zagreb - KD " V.Lisinski ", Croatia

"...The second evening program's focus was on mainstream jazz. 

 Jazzy Option trio - Hrvoje Vranko (piano and composing), 

Nenad Jura Vrandečić (bass) and  Boris Beštak (drums)

played well-known classics with a New York clarinetist Neal Haiduck, a Buddy DeFranco and Tony Scott follower. Performing well known standards , including two Monk's compositions as well as Vranko's own compositions, the trio played steadily, unpretentious , playful and open, throwing a nice musical pleasure . Haiduck's simplicity and logical improvisations caused a smile of pleasure on many faces in the crowd consisting of the connoisseurs. Besides the cooperation with a well-known American artist , the importance of this show is the fact that Haiduck performed Vranko's compositions  such as " Late Harvest " , " Acid Rain Jazz " Samba Simba " and " Ma - Ma - Ma " some of which may take place in his permanent repertoire..."
